Sisters of Notre Dame Eastern Kentucky Foundation Opens First Grant Application Cycle

The SND Eastern Kentucky Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its inaugural grant cycle. This funding opportunity supports nonprofits, community groups, and local organizations working to improve the quality of life across counties in the Foundation’s eastern Kentucky service region.

The Foundation invites eligible applicants to submit proposals for projects that align with its mission to provide support to individuals, families, and communities in need in order to promote systemic change and fullness of life.

Applications are being sought for endeavors that focus on health and wellness, education and career development, or quality of life.

The online application form is now available online at: www.sndekyfoundation.org/grants

“The Sisters of Notre Dame, through this Foundation, are grateful to be able to support initiatives that directly benefit the people and communities of eastern Kentucky,” said Sr. Marla Monahan, Chair of the SND Eastern Kentucky Foundation Board of Directors. “This grant cycle represents a continuation of service in the region that began when the first Sisters of Notre Dame arrived in Morehead in 1963 to assist with the establishment of St. Claire Healthcare, and we couldn’t be more grateful to keep serving in this area.”

Applicants are encouraged to review the Foundation’s updated grant guidelines and eligibility criteria. Full details, including submission instructions, are available on the Foundation’s website.
