The Sisters of Notre Dame Eastern Kentucky Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Anna Heineman as its new Program Specialist. In this role, Heineman will work closely with the Foundation’s team to advance its mission of “proclaiming God’s goodness by providing support to people in need in Eastern Kentucky.”

“I am thrilled to join the Foundation staff and contribute to the meaningful work being done to support our communities,” said Heineman. “As an eastern Kentucky native, I am excited to see the impact the Foundation will have on lives in our surrounding area.”

Heineman is a graduate student at Marshall University where she is pursuing a masters degree in Healthcare Administration. She has worked on a variety of projects aimed at improving the lives of individuals and families in rural communities. Her skills and passion for service make her an excellent addition to the Foundation’s team.

“We are very pleased to welcome Anna to our team,” said Mindy Highley, CEO of the Foundation. “Her dedication to building a better eastern Kentucky and her optimistic approach will be a tremendous asset as we build this organization.”

As a Program Specialist, Heineman will support the Foundation’s administrative programming and work with grant applicants and recipients in areas such as health and wellness, education and career development, and quality of life.

The SND Eastern Kentucky Foundation looks forward to the contributions Heineman will make as part of the team and is excited about the future of its various programs.
